‘Lodge Kohler Kickoff’ Radio Show is Back for Another Title Run

KOHLER, Wis. – September 4, 2019 – LODGE KOHLER, located in the Green Bay Packers Titletown, announces the return of the popular radio show for all things Green Bay Packers. LODGE KOHLER Kickoff will return on Friday, September 6 from 5-6 p.m., welcoming Packers wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling as the first guest of the season and Packers safety Adrian Amos the following week.

The show will take place at Leaps & Bounds Café, located on the plaza level of the hotel, overlooking Titletown. LODGE KOHLER Kickoff show will continue to be aired on 105.7 FM The Fan/WSSP Radio and hosted by popular Wisconsin sportscaster Bill Michaels with topics focusing on all things Green Bay Packers. The show will be broadcasted for 16 weeks and has a bye week of 11/15.

Leaps & Bounds Café is open to the public and offers delicious breakfast items, coffee, beer and wine. The weekly show will feature a variety of current and former players offering commentary and thoughts on the previous week’s game and upcoming opponent. LODGE KOHLER Announces Inaugural Dinner Series Bringing Decades of Food & Wine Experience

KOHLER, Wis. – March 28, 2019 – After nearly two decades of producing the widely acclaimed Kohler Food & Wine Experience, Kohler Co. is harnessing its years of expertise to launch the inaugural Dinner Series at Lodge Kohler. Leveraging the deep bench of talent throughout Kohler Hospitality, chefs from different Kohler restaurants will host intimate wine and dinner pairings at Taverne in the Sky, the fifth-floor restaurant with a panoramic bar located at Lodge Kohler, the premiere hotel in Titletown.

Launching April 24 with Destination Kohler Executive Chef Matt Bauer – more than 20-year veteran of Kohler and previous Executive Chef of AAA Four-Star Immigrant Restaurant – the dinner series will offer a communal and entertaining experience with guests being seated in small groups to encourage conversation about the meal and pairings. The host Chef and Sommelier will be part of the evening, presenting each course, sharing thoughts about the pairings and encouraging guests in thoughtful and congenial conversations.

“The Dinner Series is our chance to use the years of experience garnered through Kohler Food & Wine and bring that element of fun, educational and interactive dining to Lodge Kohler,” said Tom McGinty, Director of Food & Beverage Operations at Destination Kohler. “Each Chef has their own flair, expertise and personality that shines through and engages the guest in an unconventional way. We have a spectacular culinary brigade from a more than 35-year-old Five-Star, Five-Diamond resort at Destination Kohler. Paired with the talented team at Lodge Kohler, we plan to put out a great spread.”

For $99 per person, each six-course dinner seats 32 people who will dine in the beautifully designed Tower Room at Taverne in the Sky. The meal will be served in three phases with communal seating and shared dishes for the table, with plentiful wine pairings presented by certified Sommeliers. Pastry and dessert selections will be created by the Pastry Team at Kohler Co.

This summer, visitors can also partake in a series of weekend group workshops on the Titletown lawn across the street from iconic Lambeau Field, as well as at the property’s featured café concept, Leaps and Bounds.

KOHLER, Wis. — September 7, 2017 – Kohler Co. is pleased to announce the appointment of Chef Joey Kolenc as head chef of the recently opened AAA Four-Diamond LODGE KOHLER, the prime hotel of Green Bay Packer’s Titletown. Kolenc boasts more than 15 years of culinary experience across a wide range of dining establishments, and will lead the property’s featured restaurant, Taverne in the Sky, which promises the finest in modern rotisserie cuisine.

Prior to his appointment, Kolenc most recently served as executive sous’ chef at El Chorro in Paradise Valley, Arizona. Over the course of his three-year term, he managed and motivated a highly talented culinary team and held the responsibilities of budgeting, purchasing, reducing waste and effectively adapting menus based on guest preferences and satisfaction. Before his time at El Chorro, Kolenc also served as a sous chef at The Greenhouse (Fox Restaurant Concepts) in Phoenix, AZ and Marcella’s (Cameron Mitchell Restaurants) in Scottsdale, AZ. His first foray into the KOHLER brand began in 2007, when he worked as a cook at the Forbes Five-Star and AAA Five-Diamond, The American Club.
