Kohler Four-Diamond hotel development celebrates major milestone in construction – opens for reservations and releases room renderings
KOHLER, Wis. – November 2, 2016 – LODGE KOHLER, the newest hotel development by Kohler Co., reached a significant milestone today when it celebrated the placement of the last exterior beam–a symbol of completed structural construction of the hotel. Commemorated with a topping-off ceremony, LODGE KOHLER is now open for room reservations and it released room renderings and rates. The Four-Diamond property will serve as an anchor tenant and exclusive hotel in the new Titletown District in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
“We appreciate our construction team’s tireless efforts and dedication to get us to this point as we drive toward a grand opening next July,” said Christine Loose, Group Director of Lodging for Kohler Co. “While we take time to celebrate the progress and placement of the last exterior beam, the real exciting news for our future patrons is that starting today, guests can book a room and reserve their place amongst the first to experience LODGE KOHLER. And, we are also providing patrons the opportunity to view the guestrooms by releasing some design renderings.”
Joining Christine Loose at the topping-off ceremony today, Wisconsin Department of Tourism Secretary Stephanie Klett spoke about the excitement. “It’s been a thrill to get a first look at the progress of LODGE KOHLER and the Titletown District today,” Klett said. “This project will enhance the entire Green Bay experience, grow the local economy and give people more reasons to visit. We look forward to supporting this new development with our own promotional efforts.”
In addition to opening room reservations, Kohler Co. also released the first design renderings of the interior of LODGE KOHLER. The interior design team worked diligently to create a rugged-yet-refined atmosphere that is approachable to both guests from around the country, and the community. “Guests will be embraced by a neutral color palette set against warm wood tones, bronze accents and patinaed finishes for a design inspired by Kohler's history of gracious living and craftsmanship,” said Tim Andreas, Director Architecture & Interior Design for Kohler Co.
Starting today, guests are welcome to book room reservations for July-December 2017 online or by calling 888-4KOHLER (888-456-4537). Five different room categories are available with midweek rates starting at $195 (plus tax) and Game-Day rates starting at $463 (plus tax).

Kohler Co. is known for its long history of cutting-edge kitchen and bath products, engines and generators. But in 1981, Herb Kohler transformed a workers’ dormitory called The American Club on the headquarters property into a world-class resort hotel. It was later joined in 2004 by The Old Course Hotel, Golf Resort & Spa in St. Andrews, Scotland. Both properties, known for their high-level customer service and impeccable attention to detail, are recognized internationally for their hosting of golf’s Major championships. Destination Kohler is home to two public venues, Whistling Straits and Blackwolf Run, which have collectively hosted the 1998 and 2012 U.S. Women’s Open, the 2007 U.S. Senior Open, the 2004, 2010 and 2015 PGA Championships and will host the 2020 Ryder Cup. The Old Course Hotel, Golf Resort & Spa stands within 10 feet along the fairway of the 17th hole, the Road Hole, golf’s most famous hole on its most famous course. It also offers golf at the Duke’s, a special heathland course in the Kingdom of Fife. The resort has served as host-hotel for both the 2010 and 2015 Open Championship and the annual Alfred Dunhill Links Championship. Both resorts have a Kohler Waters Spa, which are acclaimed for their innovative water-based therapies.
